Butterfly Acrylic Cake Shape Guide Set

Have you ever wondered how those bakers on social media get the Perfect, smooth and sharp edged cake? its with cake guides! Your New fave baking tools! these help to create the standing cakes that are an absolute gorgeous finish.

The guides are the perfect way to achieve a shape on your cake without the hassle of a cake tin. Our Shapes are designed by Love & Sparkles™ and are cut from a 3mm food grade Acrylic. We recommend you cover them in cling wrap before use so they can be easily removed after using (the smoother the cling wrap, the smoother the finish will be). It is always easiest to remove them if the cake is put in the fridge and the icing is set. 

These sets come in packs of 2, place one at the top and the other at the bottom of your cake, gently carve the cake to be slightly smaller to give room for your icing, and then use one of our scrapers to ice accordingly. The guides work really well with a stable icing of choice (we recommend using a ganache, but please note the melting point of the icing you choose and ensure you refrigerate correctly.)

Our guides are cut from colour acrylic, the image shows colour to show the shape clearly. please indicate your preferred colour at checkout, otherwise they will be selected at random.
